Los Angeles - Police are searching for a man who allegedly held up O.J. Simpson at gunpoint but fled after the football legend wrestled with him and bit his gun hand.

Simpson - who was acquitted of criminal murder charges following the death of his ex-wife and her friend, but who was later found responsible for their deaths in civil court - told police the gunman approached him after he had finished playing a round of golf.
