LONDON - The mid air rampage on a flight carrying the England soccer squad on Tuesday was the continuation of a party that began hours earlier at a Hong Kong bar, it was claimed last night.
Mr Clark Martin, manager of The Jump Club, said the footballers spent more than four hours in his bar and stayed until 2.30 a.m. During what was the start of the celebrations for Paul Gascoigne's 29th birthday, they ripped off each others shirts and drank Flaming Lamborghinis a mix of Sambucca, Baileys and Galliano. A few hours after leaving the club the team flew back to London.
Cathay Pacific allege that £5,000 worth of damage was caused during the flight. The airline has asked its solicitors to deal direct with the English Football Association.
