BIGGEST star spotted around town this week was Patsy Kensit. She was once famous for being a film star but is now better known as Oasis star, Liam Gallagher's girlfriend so it wasn't exactly surprising that all anyone wanted to ask her when she arrived in Blanchardstown to open the new nine cinema UCI complex was "where's Liam?"
This went down like a lead balloon, which resulted in some rather sulky photographs and nervous looks from the English PR firm which was organising the event.
Aside from the usual "happy to be back in Dublin" (Patsy used to live here when she was married to Simple Mind's front man Jim Kerr) the actress had little to say, and definitely nothing to say about the Oasis star, and along with ex Shakespear's Sister Siobhan Fahey retired to the more salubrious confines of the Clarence Hotel after the event.
