BOB GELDOF's friend Jeanne Marine (31) thinks he's "compassionate, charming, intelligent and the most handsome man in the world". But the French actress insisted their relationship did not start until after he parted from Paula Yates.
When their relationship began, they could not even speak to each other, Ms Marine told Hello! magazine: "My English was pretty non existent then but our friends translated."
Yates cited Geldof's adultery with Marine in her petition for divorce.
