Babyshambles frontman Pete Doherty has been arrested on suspicion of stealing a car and being in possession of Class A drugs.
He was one of three men stopped in Birmingham on Monday night and detained in connection with a report of a vehicle having been stolen in London.

A police spokeswoman said: "Three men were arrested on Monday when a car was stopped in Colmore Row at approximately 9.15pm.
"They were arrested on suspicion of theft of a motor vehicle relating to a report of a car stolen in London and on suspicion of possession of Class A drugs.
"One of the men was aged 26 and from London. The other two are aged 18 and 19 from Dundee.
"They have been released on police bail pending further enquiries."
Doherty is the former boyfriend of 'supermodel' Kate Moss who was secretly filmed snorting cocaine at a party last year.
