Current guidelines for pill prescribing from the Irish Association of Family Planning Doctors remain unchanged, Dr Mary Teeling, of the Irish Medicine Board, said last night. She said this advice would be welcomed by Irish women who might have had concerns about a possible increase of blood clots with the pill.
