Gardaí in Dublin are investigating a pipe bomb attack last night that is being linked to gang feuding.

Gardaí in Dublin are investigating a pipe bomb attack last night that is being linked to gang feuding.

The device was thrown through the window of a house at Rutland Court, Summerhill, in the inner city at around 9.40pm. It exploded on a balcony at the rear of the house.

"Damage was caused to the balcony area, rear patio doors and to the kitchen area," a Garda spokesman said.

There were 10 people in the house at the time,but no one was injured.
