Pipebomb attack on Co Derry pub

A pub in Co Derry has been attacked with a pipe-bomb

A pub in Co Derry has been attacked with a pipe-bomb. It is believed the device was left on the window-sill of the Village Tavern on the Mussenden Road near Castlerock at 12.20 a.m. yesterday but fell to the ground before exploding.

The building suffered only minor damage, and there were no injuries.
