Berlin - A Nigerian-born soccer player who owns the ship allegedly used to traffic child slaves last month has been suspended from his German soccer club, writes Derek Scally.

Jonathan Akpoborie (32), who plays for Vfl Wolfburg, owns the ship that docked in Benin last month. He has denied involvement in the incident.
