East Anglia - British Poet Laureate Andrew Motion was last night involved in a dispute with one of his university students, who is reportedly accusing him of sexual harassment. Motion has complained to the authorities at the University of East Anglia that she is harassing him.

Yesterday's Mail on Sunday newspaper reported that Ms Laura Fish (37) was making allegations against the married poet (48). It reported he had privately admitted to friends that he "made a fool of himself" by sending intimate e-mails to the single mother and kissing her while he was her tutor on a creative writing course. Last night he issued a statement saying he had made a formal harassment complaint to the university authorities about Ms Fish.
