Five men arrested in the North in connection with a man's murder have been released without charge, police confirmed today.
The men were picked up at addresses in the south Antrim area yesterday and questioned for a number of hours about the murder of John Allen of Ballyclare.
Mr Allen (31) died when he was shot in the head and legs by two masked men at his flat in Rashee Park, Ballyclare, on November 8th.
His family believe the murder was carried out by the loyalist paramilitary group the Ulster Volunteer Force.
