A report into claims by a whistleblower at the banking inquiry has been delivered to the Oireachtas Commission.
Senior counsel Senan Allen was asked to investigate allegations of preferential treatment being given to some witnesses at the committee.
Mr Allen was asked to report back by the end of August and his findings were delivered on Wednesday night.
It is expected relevant parties and those named in the report are being circulated with a copy first before publication.
The whistleblower is part of the investigation team at the committee and made a number of allegations about those working with the inquiry.
The whistleblower submitted an 82-page document under the Protected Disclosures Act. It alleges preferential treatment was given to the Central Bank and the Department of Finance.
