This year's Earagail Arts Festival celebrates the work of one of Scotland's leading and most influential artists, Elizabeth Blackadder, a painter and printmaker of international renown. The theme of the visual arts programme is print and the Letterkenny Arts Centre features Blackadder's graphic work from 1984 to 1998. She has long been associated with the Glasgow Print Studios, and exhibitions at An Grianan Theatre, the Donegal County Museum and Ceardlann na gCroisbhealach explore the work of other leading artists who have worked at the Studios, including Adrian Wiszniewski and Christine Borland. Other highlights include Prints from the State Collections at the Glebe Gallery in Churchill, ceramicist Clare McLaughlin at Bakersville in Letterkenny, Fiona Higgins and Donnchadh McGinley at The Yellow Pepper in Letterkenny, and this year's Cosan Glas Project on the beach in Falcarragh.
