Two Derry brothers on hunger strike in a Scottish prison have had their prison privileges restored, their family said yesterday, Rachel Donnelly reports.

Raymond Barrow (39) and his brother, James (41), were convicted of a breach of the peace and contravention of the Prevention of Terrorism Act in Stranraer, Scotland, last week. They will be sentenced on Monday. They are being held In Barlinnie Prison In Glasgow.

The SDLP leader, Mr John Hume, asked the Northern Ire- land Secretary, Dr Mo Mowlam, to review their case. However, the Northern Ireland Office said last night the case was "a matter for the Scottish Office".
