Moscow - President Putin returned to Moscow yesterday after a three-day summit with his US counterpart which failed to bridge the two leaders' differences over missile defence systems.
Mr Putin flew into Moscow from New York, where he had paid tribute to the victims of the September 11th attacks. US officials said President Bush could pay a return visit to Russia in the spring.
