We have had one of the mildest Octobers on record, but that is about to change.

Met Éireann forecaster Pat Clarke described the changes, which will be apparent from this morning, as “shocking” given the extraordinarily warm temperatures of recent weeks. “It is going to be a lot colder, a lot windier and a lot more unsettled,” he warned.
