Manila- Muslim rebels have beheaded one of three US hostages in the Philippines, a rebel spokesman said this morning.
Californian Guillermo Sobrero was executed after President Gloria Arroyo refused to call off military operations against the kidnappers, Mr Abu Sabaya the spokesman for the Aby Sayyaf rebel group told DZMM radio. Mr Sabaya threatened to also behead the other two US captives, Martin and Gracia Burnham.
