BANGKOK - The Thai army yesterday denied a newspaper report that it had said Cambodia's Khmer Rouge leader, Pol Pot, was dead. Lieut Gen Prakat Panbanyong, the personal secretary for the army's commander in chief, Gen Pramon Palasin, said he had been asked to clarify an erroneous report published yesterday in the Bangkok Post.
