A restaurant owner has been granted a special licence permitting him to serve drinks with meals in his new £1.4 million Beano's restaurant on The Green, Malahide, despite objections from locals.
Mr Michael Martin had to give the Circuit Civil Court undertakings that he would not operate a public bar as he had advertised and that he would serve drinks with meals within specific hours.
