Now there will be no escaping the broadcasters from Casla, and elsewhere. From this Monday, Raidi≤ na Gaeltachta will broadcast 24 hours a day. Listeners in Ireland and around the world on the Internet will be able to tune in at any time.

Mβir∅n U∅ Neachtain and her two sons, Caoimh∅n ╙ Neachtain (16) and Beartla ╙ Neachtain (12) were among those who came to applaud. Her broadcaster brother Mβirt∅n Davy ╙ Coisdealbha, also present, will be presented with a Comhaltas Ceolt≤iri ╔ireann award tonight, by the President, Mrs McAleese. Comhghβirdeachas, a Mhβirt∅n. A number of awards are being presented to those who have promoted traditional Irish music over the years. (Comhaltas Ceolt≤ir∅ ╔ireann also celebrates its silver jubilee this year.)
