When Aslan play a hometown gig, it always ends up lasting a week

When Aslan play a hometown gig, it always ends up lasting a week. The Dublin band are esconsed in Vicar Street from Monday 21st till Saturday 26th, playing the mix of acoustic and electric which has kept their diehard fans happy through thick and thin. Aslan have had their fair share of adversity - their career stalled in the late 1980s when their debut album, Feel No Shame, failed to follow U2 into the crazy world of superstardom. The band split then reconvened to produce their biggest home hit, Crazy World, and they still command huge respect at home. They've just completed a successful first tour of Australia, so the world is still their oyster.
