Roddy Collins is to quit his position as manager of Bohemians following the club’s most successful season in years.

A spokesman for Bohemians confirmed to ireland.com: "The club had arranged a meeting with Collins for May, 19th to discuss the renewal of the manager's contract, but without giving any reason Roddy failed to turn up and instead went to America on holiday."

Bohemians are now actively seeking a replacement for Collins in time for their Champions League game in July.

The announcement comes as no big surprise considering Collins is known to have applied for the Oxford United job and has also been linked with Barnet.
