TheLions have been ordered to name their test team later today, in line with International Rugby Board guidelines.
The tourists had intended to delay naming the side for Saturday's second test against the world champion Australians until Friday to give several players the chance to get fit.
But Australian Rugby Union chief executive John O'Neill complained to the IRB who insist on test teams being named 48 hours before a match.
"We received a call from the IRB reminding us of the guidelines," Lions manager Donal Lenihan said today.
