Allegation: reporter was told during Ryanair training that a passenger in seat A1 would "probably die on impact" because a piece of metal from a hand rail would pierce their head.

Ryanair response: the tutor's claim was "ludicrous" and "complete nonsense".

Allegation: A fault indicator was showing on an emergency exit prior to take-off and though brought to the attention of senior staff, not remedied prior to take-off.

Response: Ryanair engineers state that there was no defect on the aircraft. There is "no evidence whatsoever to support this claim".

Allegation: Pilot claimed he would be fired or demoted if he said he was too tired to fly.

Response: "No pilot has ever been asked to fly an aircraft if he feels himself unfit to do so."
