Ryanair is to charge passengers €7 for using its new inflight entertainment system in a move which could generate up to €:14 million for the airline.
The APS inflight entertainment system will be trialled initially on five Stansted-based aircraft from November 1st, and if successful will be rolled out across the Ryanair fleet from March next.
Ryanair's movie package includes Hollywood movies such as Cheaper by the Dozenand TV comedies such as Only Fools and Horses.
"We expect to make enormous sums of money from this," Ryanair chief executive Mr Michael O'Leary told a conference in London today.
