A search will resume at first light today for a man who was spotted in the River Erne near Beleek on the Border between Donegal and Fermanagh.

The Beleek bridge was closed and the ESB generator at Cliff was switched off to assist rescuers in their search, which began at about 7pm last night after the man was spotted in the river.

The search was called off yesterday evening due to failing light and will resume this morning.
