A major search operation was under way last night for a yacht believed to have sunk off the Irish coast.
A lifeboat, three shoreline coastguard teams and a Navy helicopter from Scotland were all scrambled as the rescue bid got under way in Strangford Lough, off Co Down.
A spokesman for the Northern Ireland coastguard confirmed the skipper of the Paparoa raised the alarm.
