Army technical officers examined suspicious objects in Tennent Street close to the local police station, Ballgomartin Road in Ballymurphy and Ormeau Avenue in Belfast.

A fourth device was found later in Broadway.

This morning a PSNI spokesman said all the alerts were declared deliberate hoaxes.
