ANGLERS in Thurles, Co Tipperary, are angry over a spillage from the town's sewerage scheme into the River Suir which has resulted in the death of thousands of minnows and 250 trout. The spillage was due to the malfunction of a pump in the town's sewerage system. Mr Dermot Butler of the Suir Irish Anglers Association said that the river was just recovering from a previous fish kill.
