SF condemns raid on club

Sinn Fein has condemned an RUC raid on the Irish Republican Felons' Club in west Belfast yesterday. The party claimed it was "the latest attempt by the RUC to close down the club". Sinn Fein Assembly member Mr Gerry Kelly said it was an attack on the entire nationalist community. "The RUC is incapable of providing a policing service. It must be replaced by an unarmed, accountable and community-based policing service."
