A Sinn Fein councillor, Mr Mairtin O Muilleoir, has lodged an official complaint after he missed a meeting with representatives from the US Commerce Department because he was held for half an hour by the RUC in Belfast yesterday.
Mr O Muilleoir said he was to have breakfast with the officials at the Europa Hotel in Belfast. The Sinn Fein councillor is a delegate at this week's international economic conference in the city.
