Israeli Prime Minister Ariel Sharon is reportedly considering dismissing Benjamin Netanyahu if the
finance minister votes against his Gaza pullout plan in a cabinet session.

A newspaper website said the move was likely after Mr Netanyahu angered Mr Sharon by leading opposition to his blueprint for withdrawal from Gaza.

The plan is due to be put to a cabinet vote on Sunday. The Maarivwebsite cited one source
as saying: "He [Sharon] will be forced to dismiss . . . Netanyahu if he should vote against the pullout plan."
