Liam Sheedy of the Portroe club was last night ratified as the new Tipperary senior hurling manager on a two-year deal.
Sheedy succeeds Babs Keating and his selectors will be Eamon O'Shea of Kilruane MacDonaghs and Michael Ryan of Upperchurch-Drombane.
The new manager steered Tipperary's minors to All-Ireland glory last year.
