Frazer Robertson from London had hoped to run the race dressed as a pint of Guinness but when he couldn't find a costume, he decided to go as a bottle of beer instead.

"The costume was very, very hot," he said. "Everyone was envious of me at the start when it was freezing cold but after about two miles, it got hot."

Despite being weighed down by his outfit, he ran the race in four hours 12 minutes. "The crowds were just extraordinary, particularly the last three or four miles as we came back into the city," he said. "Without them I think I would have given up."
