THERE'S nothing like a touch of spring in the air to bring out the arias in all of us and whether you're an in the shower soprano or a concerto connoisseur, the coming months are busy ones. The event of the Handel Fest is tonight's International Recital in Christ Church Cathedral which features the world renowned James Bowman and which is followed by a prestigious 1742 banquet, prepared by Terry McCoy of the Skerries restaurant, the Red Bank, which takes place across the arch in Dublinia. Norma Smurfit will be there as well as Peter Kelly; Superquinn's Eamonn Quinn; sports guru John Saunders; Mark Mortell chairman of Bord Failte - Eileen O'Mara Walsh, chairwoman of Forbairt, and Dr Brian Boydell.
