SIPTU in Galway has called for a further meeting with management of the AT Cross pen manufacturing plant in Ballinasloe, Co Galway, after unsuccessful talks yesterday over job losses at the plant. The company announced last week that up to 190 jobs could go due to restructuring in the US. The Ballinasloe plant, started in 1973, is to be moved back to Rhode Island.
