The men convicted of the torture and murder of 16-year-old Mary Ann Leneghan and the attempted murder of her friend were jailed for life today.
Adrian Thomas (20) of Battersea, south London, was sentenced to life for murder and told he must serve at least 27 years. Thomas was accused by the prosecution of orchestrating the assaults.
Fellow gang member Michael Johnson (19) of Southfields, south London, was also jailed for life for the murder of Mary-Ann and told he must serve at least 27 years.
Jamaile Morally (22) of Balham, south London, was jailed for life and told he must serve at least 27 years. His brother Joshua Morally (23) also of Balham, was jailed for life and told he must serve at least 27 years.
Llewellyn Adams and Indirit Krasniqi were also given life sentences.
All six men involved were in their late teens or early 20s when they attacked the two women During the assault, Mary-Ann and her friend (18) were repeatedly taunted and told they were going to die.
Mary-Ann, whose father is originally from Co Mayo, and her friend were abducted, tortured for hours and forced to smoke heroin and crack cocaine in May last year.
