Southampton will announce their new manager at a board meeting later today.
Chairman Rupert Lowe has called a meeting with his fellow board members to finally fill the vacancy left by Glenn Hoddle's departure in March.
Caretaker manager Stuart Gray is favourite to get the job.
Gray took over from Hoddle on a temporary basis to guide Southampton through the final stages of the season.

During that time, however, Southampton lost seven straight matches before finally taking maximum points against Manchester United and Arsenal.
"There is a board meeting today and once the board has deliberated, we will aim to make some form of announcement as quickly as we can after that," said Lowe.
