A man accused of causing a serious danger to members of the public when he allegedly drove a car into the main reception door of RTÉ's offices has been remanded in custody for a week.

Paul Stokes (52), of Montpellier Parade, Monkstown, Co Dublin, appeared before Dublin District Court today on a new charge of intentional or reckless conduct creating a "substantial risk of death or serious harm" to others.

Mr Stokes had previously been charged with criminal damage in relation to an incident at RTÉ's Donnybrook headquarters on December 2nd last.

A car was driven into the glass doors at the reception area as members of the studio audience in that night's Tubridy Tonightshow were leaving the building.
