A suicide bomber blew up his car at an Iraqi police and army checkpoint in a town south of Baghdad today, killing two policemen and two civilians, local police said.

The attack was in the town of Yusufiya, part of the area known as the "triangle of death" where insurgents regularly attack Iraqi and US security forces.
