TWO MEN stole £16,000 in and foreign currencies and members of staff a syringe during a robbery the Budget Travelshop in Green, Dublin, yesterday.

The men entered the shop at time on the pretext of a travel ticket. One a syringe and ordered one of two staff members to open a safe. No one injured. Two men and a women were later arrested and detained by gardai in Clontarf.

A substantial amount of cash was recovered. Two men are to be charged in court later today.
