The Taoiseach, Mr Ahern, will meet US President George W. Bush in Washington next month, it was announced today.
The two will meet at the White House on March 13th, day's before the annual St Patrick's Day festivities.
"They will mark the enormous contributions to America made by the Irish and the continuing warm relations between our two countries," Bush spokesman Mr Ari Fleischer said.
