A 45-year-old teacher was returned for trial to the next sitting of Limerick Circuit Court on October 2nd charged with the sexual assault of two teenage boys.

Judge Tom O'Donnell told Limerick District Court yesterday that he was satisfied that there was a prima facie case against the accused.

The offences were alleged to have taken place in Limerick, Clare and Tipperary between September 1994 and March 1997.

The accused, a father of three, cannot be named for legal reasons. He has denied all charges. He was remanded on continuing bail.
