Dundalk company Little Fuse, which manufactures circuit protection devices for the automotive, computer and mobile-phone industries, is to place its 250-strong workforce on a three-day week.

A company spokesperson has confirmed the changes will begin on August 13th, and has blamed the move on the global slowdown in motoring, computer and phone markets.
