The officers suffered minor injuries while tending to the fire which caused widespread smoke pollution.

Firefighters battled through the night to bring the blaze at Printing Services in Cabra under control, using a total of 14 fire engines.

The blaze began at around 1 a.m. and was brought under control after several hours. It was largely fuelled by paper and plastic products at the factory.
