Three men are being questioned by police in the North after a major arms find in southBelfast.
Police discovered guns, ammunition and bomb parts at a house in the nationalistlower end of the Ormeau Road.
Superintendent Ken Dean, of the Police Service of Northern Ireland (PSNI), describedthe find as "very significant".
He said: "At this stage policewould be linking it to mainstream republicans, the Provisional IRA."

"Potentially lives and property have been saved as a result of thisfind," Superintendent Dean added.
The haul included six handguns, an assault rifle, six timer power units foruse with bombs, and thousands of rounds of assorted ammunition and magazines.
