A number of men have been hospitalised in the North following separate paramilitary-style punishment shootings last night.

A man aged in his thirties was taken to hospital in Belfast after he was shot four times, twice in his calves and once in each hand. The attack occurred on Alliance Road in the north of the city at around 9.30pm.

In another incident two men were hospitalised after they were injured in an attack in the Vionville Green area of Dundonald.
