Kathmandu - Three people were wounded in a bomb blast at a carpet factory in the Nepali capital yesterday and police were investigating whether Maoist rebels were responsible.

The blast, the second in the capital since King Gyanendra declared a state of emergency to crush the Maoist revolt a week ago, took place in the southern area of Kathmandu.
