Three men arrested yesterday in connection with the attempted murder of two police officers in a Co Fermanagh landmine attack have been freed.

The attack was claimed by the Continuity IRA, which said it planted the landmine as on the Rellan Road near Roslea on June 14th.

Two police officers suffered minor injuries after the device only partially exploded as their patrol passed.

The three men were arrested in the Roslea area and were being held at the PSNI's Antrim station. They were released this afternoon without charge.
