Gardai have named the 12-year-old boy fatally injured when he was struck by a car yesterday as Jonathan Grace of Rose Cottage, Wood Road, Limerick

He died crossing the road at Woodpark, Castleconnell, Limerick at 10.20 pm last night.

A 28-year-old man killed in last night's crash close to the N4/M50 interchange (Junction 7) was also named this evening He was Arum Khanna of Linden Apartments, Drumgeely, Co Clare.

Mr Khanna was originally from India. Gardai are appealing to anyone who was travelling on the N4 westbound at Palmerstown between 7.30pm and 7.45pm on last night to contact them at Ronanstown Garda Station on 01 6667700.

Gardai have also named the man who was fatally injured at Tullyhonour, Breenagh, Letterkenny, Co. Donegal in the early hours of yesterday morning. He was Liam Kelly of Ardlaghan, Cloghan and was in his forties.
